Karen is active in her church, serving on the worship team and on various committees. Her hobbies include jogging and fitness, reading, homemaking and urban chicken farming. After having spent her childhood and teen years in southeast Arkansas, and marrying Dwayne, her home has been in southeast Texas for more than 20 years, where they have enjoyed rearing two beautiful daughters: Anna Beth and Allie Rae.
