Chris was born in Orange, Texas and currently lives in Port Arthur. He graduated from Lamar
University (BBA, 2006) and received his AS from Lamar State College - Orange in 2002.
He specializes in monthly bank reconciliation; corporate, partnership, non-profit, and personal
income tax return preparation. Chris is also involved in tax planning and projection along with
monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Chris has previous experience in the oil and gas
industry, where he worked with various project managers to track the cost of numerous ongoing
construction projects and set these projects up as assets once complete.
He is a member of the Southeast Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, the American Institute
of CPAs, and the Texas Society of CPAs. Chris likes to keep the office upbeat with his jokes and
funny voice impersonations. He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Spindletop
(Beaumont). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the SETX Chapter of Texas Society of
CPAs.
Chris is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Beaumont, and in 2019 he was selected as a 40 Under 40
Honoree by the Southeast Texas Young Professionals Organization and the Beaumont Chamber of
Commerce. Chris was also recognized as one of TXCPA's 2020 Rising Stars.
When Chris is away from the office, he enjoys reading, watching movies, playing video games and
spending time with his friends and family, including his nephew, Cayden and two cats, Snips and
Luna.
